Story Synopsis : 

In a world overrun by zombies, an Employment Ice Age uncle becomes popular with the ladies.

Izaku Kouzou, 49, struggled through life as part of the Employment Ice Age generation and now works as the janitor at a well-known elite private high school in a certain regional town.

Most of the students looked down on him but he got along well with Shirai Ruri, the one girl at school who stood out for dressing like a gyaru. The two of them often talked in the janitor's room.

Just as summer break was approaching, Kouzou finished work and went to sleep in his apartment before waking up in another world.

On the orders of the king who had summoned him, he defeated the Demon King. After receiving his reward and returning to his original world, he found that only one night had passed.

Kouzou's chest swelled with anticipation, ready to quit the janitor job and spend the rest of his life living it up on the money from selling his reward. But to his shock, outside his room was crawling with zombies and the level he'd built up in the other world had reset back to 1.

「…Survival comes first!」

Battle-hardened from defeating the Demon King, Kouzou cut down zombie after zombie to raise his level. He moved from place to place, gathering all the food and supplies he could to make the rest of his life comfortable.

「Guess I'll head for the village deep in the mountains where Grandpa used to live…」

Once he'd raised his level to a certain degree and packed a huge stockpile of supplies into his 『Item Box』, Kouzou had no intention of wiping out the zombies to save the world. He set his sights on the abandoned village where his grandfather's old family home stood.

But before that, he found himself worrying whether Shirai Ruri was still alive so he decided to head for the school where he used to work…

And while searching for her, Kouzou ended up saving yet another beautiful girl.

「Thank you for saving me from being turned into a zombie.」

（Oh no! I hadn't thought this through at all!）

After that, it was a relief to finally reunite with Ruri but Kouzou now had his hands full trying to keep the two of them safe.

This is the story of an Employment Ice Age uncle surviving a modern world overrun by zombies, alongside beautiful girls and women.
